This week has left many feeling hopeless and sobered.

Maybe some are asking, “Where was God?”

I want to remind anyone who may be feeling that way exactly where God was, and still is…

On His throne.

God has not relinquished His authority,

but He does allow us to choose: to follow Him or to follow the world.

And America has made a choice.

However, we still have choices to make every single day.

We can choose to love our neighbors, love our enemies, and do good to those who hurt us.

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

Matthew 5:44

Elections are temporary. God is eternal.

Don't lose heart.

Keep your eyes fixed on the One who is coming back soon to make everything right.

How exciting!

As we enter into a season full of joy and light, let us not forget Who is the Only True Light;

Jesus Christ

“Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.’”John 8:12

May we keep our eyes fixed above and look to the Light of the world to bring us hope, calm and peace this season.

Xx,
