There are times and seasons in our lives where we must wait and trust. We have been praying about something, with no answer. Or we have been told to wait and be patient.

If I'm being honest me and patience have our quarrels, I don't mind hanging out with her for a few minutes or so .. I'll even hang in there for a few hours or days given the circumstances. (Like waiting for a package to come)

But overalll she's a challenging friend! Haha

But as Jesus tells us in His Word..

James 1:4 — But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

So she may be frustrating to deal with but she's so needed!

You guys, I'm writing this from a current place of waiting. It's been hard.

I'm the type of person who once I have an idea I want to fully dive into, no questions asked!

Hence why I've painted our living room 3 different colors in like a year span!

I like to think that the first colors were stepping stones to the color I ultimately wanted to paint every nook and cranny. But I digress.

I don't like to wait, I don't want to wait,

but God has His reasoning and purposes that are far above my understanding and if I could just TRUST His plan and REST in that, oh how happy and content I would be.

And maybe waiting would be easier if I had more trust that Jesus is really capable of leading and guiding us where He wants us to be. Instead of thinking that He is off busy helping someone else out and not totally present with me at every moment!

Maybe you're in a season of waiting too and there is NOTHING you can do to change anything or make anything move faster.

I just want to encourage us to first of all, TRUST that God knows everything we want before we even think of it and He is so trustworthy to take care of those things.

I don't mean He will give us every single desire that makes its way to our brain, but we can trust that He knows what bests. And as we delight ourselves in the Lord, I believe His desires will become ours. Psalms 37:4

(I would encourage you to do a study on what it means to delight yourself in the Lord! )

Maybe you're in a different season where things are changing rapidly and it's scary, you can also rest and trust God in that process!

He is so good, and so wonderful! And all things work together for good for those who love God, whether they are working out reaallllyyyy slow, or super fast!

I just listened to a part of a study that was talking about staying close to Jesus and He will bring us to where we need to be..

Like a child who clings to his mom, a 2 year old is not going to know the way to the store, but his mom does and he just trusts his mom to bring him there..his mom is the way to the store, so to speak.

How beautiful and how true for us

Jesus is our way. In every circumstance and in every season.

Let us cling to Jesus our Savior, and provider and He will bring us to the place He has called us or keep up safely snug where He has us.

After I wrote this, God has already brought me to a place of contentment that I had not been in. I know this is a journey and I expect bumps and bruises from my failing but one thing was needed and that was for me and husband to pray t o g e t h e r specifically and intentionally about certain things that have been put to the side in our prayer life together.

God told me again to wait and as I'm over here trying to figure it all out I had to tell myself

Time to buckle up buttercup cause I gotta wait haha

So I ask if you think of me to pray that I would have be content to W A I T also I would have an unwavering trust in Jesus and that I would cling to Him during the uncertainties and not fret about trying to figure it all out and let Him be our guide and way to this next season, metaphorically and also realistically because.....

CHRISTMAS SEASON is upon us!!

At least for me anyways!! Haha🎄🎄🎄🎄

Happy November my beautiful friends!

Proverbs 3:5-6

" Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths."

Psalm 37:4

"Delight yourself also in the LORD,

And He shall give you the desires of your heart."
